CLLR JOHN HARDWICK
Deputy Group Leader
Backbury Ward Member
Vice-chairman of the planning and regulatory committee.
I am the sixth generation of our family to farm in the Fownhope area of Herefordshire. I served for 37 years on our local Parish Council and have now been a Herefordshire Ward Councillor for over 7 years. I have always been passionate not to involve Politics in local issues and strongly believe that principle to be the best way forward for the good of our county.
Having lived all my life in Herefordshire allows me to understand what is best for the county and over the last 7 years I have tried to attend most Parish Council meeting within my Ward. I currently hold the vice-chairman position on the Planning Committee and I am also a member of The Wye Valley AONB Joint Advisory Committee and River Lugg Internal Drainage Committee.
CLLR SEBASTIAN BOWEN
Bircher Ward Member
Chairman of the general scrutiny committee.
Started my career as an officer in the Royal Marines, was badly smashed up and was invalided out. Then trained as an actor and teacher. I still work as an actor. I also rode as a jump jockey, was a ski guide and still ski. Enjoy the country and interesting places and buildings. I was first elected to Leominster District Council in 1994. I was then elected to the new Herefordshire Council in 1998.
Have served on Herefordshire Council ever since except for a three year gap early on. I have had the privilege of being Chairman of Children’s Services Scrutiny Committee, then Leader of The Independent Group, then Chairman of the General Scrutiny Committee. I also served on the Police Authority before its unfortunate abolition. My Ward has always been the Bircher Ward in North Herefordshire. It has been a great privilege to serve the Bircher Ward and Herefordshire itself.
CLLR PAULINE CROCKETT

I have lived in Tillington in the Burghill Parish for 25 plus years. I was born and bred in Herefordshire and have always had an acute awareness of local issues. I have been the Queenswood Ward member since the last election and have been exposed to numerous interesting and challenging situations. I have worked in the NHS for 25 years until my recent retirement and continue to have an interest in Health and Social Care. I am at present, a Scrutiny member for the Adults and Well Being Committee.
